Were working on behalf of one of the largest community-based organizations advocating for and serving the marginalized and vulnerable ethnic communities in Santa Clara County. The organizations mission is to strengthen the hope and resilience of its community members by improving their health, mental health and well-being. Their behavioral health programs offer linguistically and culturally sensitive services that help clients overcome barriers to care. Their trauma-informed, client-centered, community-based approach includes individual, groups, and family counseling for ages 6 and up at our clinics, in the home, at school, or in the community.We seek a CA Licensed Psychologists (PSY) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with two (2) or more years of experience for the role of Integrated Behavioral Health Counselor. The person in this role will evaluate and treat behavioral health needs of pediatric and adult patients within the organizations Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) to bridge the gap between physical and behavioral health. Patients are referred from primary care physicians for a variety of reasons, such as recent stressors, chronic medical conditions, as well as mood symptoms. The goal of this position is to provide culturally informed short-term therapy to referred patients, collaborate with Health Center providers and integrate care in order to support the overall wellness of each patient.Candidates must be a California licensed Psychologist (PSY) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in good professional standing and have two (2) or more years of experience. Must be bilingual (fluent in Spanish is preferred). Must have experience with short-term models of psychotherapy. Must have a valid CA Drivers License, and have a suitable vehicle for agency travel and current automobile insurance. Must be able to establish and maintain effective work relationships as part of an integrated treatment team.The role offers highly competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit plan with four Health Plan Options (95% of premiums are paid!).
