Note: This position is assigned to work at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center but is affiliated with the Mountain Division Crisis Center located in Salt Lake City, UT. Successful candidate will be part of both teams and may on occasion attend training and team meetings in Salt Lake City, UT with the Division Crisis Center Team.

Work Schedule: Monday

  • Friday (3 p.m.

  • 11 p.m.)

Position Description:

  • Assess and evaluate patients in crisis to determine the best course of treatment.

  • Screen patients at the EIRMC Emergency Room and will also be available to assess and evaluate patients referred directly to B.H.C or on EIRMC's Med/Surg. floors.

  • While on duty, may act as liaison to the community.

  • Will advocate for patients as appropriate.

Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:

  • Requires licensure in the State of Idaho as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family or Behavioral Health Registered Nurse.

Education:

  • Requires Masters Degree.

This is a field-based position which allows for some work from home and requires regular daily travel throughout the local region.
