Summary:Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, this position is responsible for the management and delivery of behavioral health therapeutic services to assigned individuals and groups participating in Native American Connections programs.

Duties:Primary responsibilities include Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment for clients accessing primary care services via the office or mobile clinic. Provides substance use and general mental health counseling Provides intake/assessment and referral services Provides counseling services via telehealth and in-person modalities as needed.
Submits timely documentation into the EHR of all services provided through client records and data Oversees and assists each assigned client with individualized service planning and reviews. Provide culturally sensitive therapy modalities through existing services, outside referral services, or the development of new services. Schedules and facilitates and/or actively participates in ART/CFT meetings as well as initiates clinical discharge planning from the beginning of services.
Maintains productivity standards as stipulated. Provides reports / other utilization management documents. Completes coordination of care with referral sources and integrated health providers on clients' progress and needs in treatment. May supervise Interns as needed under the oversight of the Clinical Supervisor.
Qualifications:Master's Degree in BH field, licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a Substance Abuse Counselor, Professional Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist, Social Worker preferred.
