Assists professional staff by providing care to children and adolescents diagnosed with mental impairments and/or emotional problems.
High School Graduate.
Minimum of 6 months experience or completion of a recognized training program, with 6 months in Behavioral Health to include experience with Children & Adolescents. Must complete non-violent crisis intervention training upon hire and annually thereafter.
Assists professional staff by providing care to children and adolescents diagnosed with mental impairments and/or emotional problems. May be required to assist in restraining combative or violent patients and take action when necessary to ensure the health, safety and security of patients in emergency situations.
All applicants are required to complete the NYS Central Register Database Background check.
