Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Behavior Technician (Outreach) for the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP). The Behavior Technician implements a variety of behavior analytic strategies to support successful outcomes for children with autism across the areas of skill acquisition and/or behavior reduction in home-based settings..
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Collects, interprets and, with oversight from the board certified behavior analyst (BCBA), analyzes behavioral data.
Contributes to the development of behavior analytic instructional programming under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent and/or up to 4 years of relevant experience depending on the duties to be performed.
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the experience requirement.
Certifications/Licenses
Current certification or willingness to become certificated as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
Certification as an RBT will be required within 30 days of start date.
Valid driver's license and use of personal vehicle to travel to client's home.

Highly organized and ability to work independently.
