Behavior Technician

Mastermind Behavior is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Technician to join our team. As a leading provider of behavioral therapy services for children, we aim to help individuals reach their fullest potential and create meaningful change in their lives. As a Behavioral Technician at Mastermind Behavior, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior intervention programs designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). You will work one-on-one with children, providing them with the support and guidance they need to develop new skills and achieve their goals. This rewarding position allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families, while also gaining valuable experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention programs under the supervision of a BCBA
• Collect data on client progress and behavior using established methods
• Maintain accurate and organized records relating to clients' programs and sessions
• Assist with the development and implementation of behavior support plans
• Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to clients during therapy sessions
• Follow Mastermind Behavior's policies and procedures to ensure effective and ethical service delivery

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Previous experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
