About the Behavior Technician Position:

Behavioral Skills Therapist and Registered Behavioral Technician Job Duties:

In addition to providing direct care to our clients, our Behavior Technician and Registered Behavior Technicians will be expected to perform:

Client Training:

  • Implement individualized programs for children and young adults based on ABA principles that increase communication, self-help, social and play skills.

  • Utilize positive reinforcement and antecedent modification to increase appropriate behaviors over time.

  • Manage inappropriate behaviors that occur. Through the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and consultation with our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)

  • Facilitate interactions with peers, coworkers, and families.

  • Keep the children motivated to learn through preference assessments.

  • Have fun with our clients while teaching them the skills that they need!

Client Progress Communication:

  • Accurately record information on the child's progress throughout the session.

  • Be courteous & professional with families, organizations, and children.

  • Communicate confidentially and professionally with behavior analysts, teachers, parents, and principals.

  • H.S. Diploma

  • Have experience working with children and/or managing challenging behaviors with children (preferred).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: spoken and written

  • Available in the PM (3:00 and after) at least 4 days a week.

  • Possess a driver's license with reliable transportation and auto insurance for driving to and from clients.

  • Have access to a working cell phone.

This includes all methods of ensuring KPIs are being met for verified repairs and acquisition of new Tech-Assist customers; recruiting, interviewing, hiring potential candidates as well as training new employees; working and communicating effectively with other department supervisors to achieve a positive and effective support workflow for all departments; and assisting in marketing all programs that the Diagnostic Team supports. Position Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned: * Trains and assists Diagnostic Technicians to ensure they are responsible for maintaining positive, on-going relationships with ALLDATA customers, ensuring trust and creating a strong basis for continued customer loyalty. * Accountable for team delivery of diagnostic support to customers and capture fix data in a database. * Manages daily activities of Diagnostic Technicians including providing supervisory support with customer responses on Community, Tech-Assist and Library escalations. * Manages Diagnostic Technicians attendance, performance, training, employee matters and complete annual performance evaluations in accordance to company's policies. * Monitors customer demand to ensure an effective workflow of providing case resolution within Community, Tech-Assist and Library escalations. This results through the ongoing supervisory skills, training and execution of each diagnostic technician for tracking repair cases through existing source of daily case tracker tool. * Development of more efficient tools and processes to increase the effectiveness of tools and team results. Monitor execution of verified repairs for each team member to ensure measurable are being met. * Maintains a positive environment for the team to constantly strive. * Maintains an effective team daily schedule based on customer demand of telephone calls, Library escalations and Community questions. * Actively participates in cross functional team activities that stimulate performance and communication improvements, resulting in improved performance. Liaison with other departments to gather information and resolve issues. Represent the organization as a SME in company cross functional and departmental efforts/projects for improving systems, processes and any other efforts/projects. * Determines the needs of the Diagnostic Team operations through following the set strategies. Conduct needs assessments, performance reviews, capacity planning, and cost/benefit analyses; identifying and evaluating state-of-the-art technologies; defining user requirements; establishing technical specifications, and production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; contributing information and analysis to organizational strategic plans and reviews. * Maintains and improves call center operations by monitoring system performance; identifying and resolving problems; preparing and completing action plans; completing system audits and analyses; managing system and process improvement and quality assurance programs; installing upgrades. * Accomplishes Diagnostic Team call center human resource objectives by managing direct reports, recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; assigning duties; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures. * Fiscal Responsibility: ensures cost objectives by utilizing hiring, disciplinary, and scheduling activities to increase employee effectiveness and efficiency. * This position has direct reports. Position Requirements: * Minimum 6 months' experience in Diagnostic Technician position (or equivalent). * Strong customer service and problem solving skills Should have a minimum of 10-15 years of automotive technician repair experience. * Strong experience and knowledge of automotive diagnostic methodologies. * Strong experience and knowledge of automotive system operating strategies. * Strong knowledge of automotive information services (OE publications, ALLDATA, Identifix, Mitchell On-Demand, Technical forums). * Technical certifications (ASE Master Tech with L1 preferred). * Knowledge and experience with Windows based applications such as: MSOffice (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe, and various internet browsers. * Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience and marketing development experience, preferred. * Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
