Behavior Specialist

Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated servant leader with strong behavior management experience to support the districts in Madison County.
Ideal candidates will possess the spirit of leading with a servant's heart.

Full-Time position
7.5 hours/day
5 days/week
184 days/year

Start Date
August 7, 2024

Certifications:
Master's degree in applied behavioral sciences,psychology, education or other related fields preferred.

Responsibilities:
Assist staff in defining and measuring behavior; understanding principles of reinforcement; teaching new behavior; implementing strategies for decreasing behavior; and identifying antecedents

Develops intervention strategies that produce tangible evidence-based benefits within specified time frames.

Knowledgeable of special education law.

Designs/implements programs to improve school success for all students.

Communicates regularly with school administrators.

Be skilled in collaborating with direct staff and agency stakeholders.
