Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Behavior Specialist to join our team You will provide ABA behavioral services in group or individual settings for a school setting. Responsibilities: Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues and autistic children Offer assistance to teachers and aids with students under your case Provide prevention-oriented therapy Implement and review treatment plans Collaborate with additional treatment team members.

Report weekly to your supervisor (BCBA) Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner Qualifications: Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields A bachelors in related fields RBT (preferred) BCaBA (prefered) Familiarity with the following strategies: 1. Preferential seating 2.

Small group instructions 3. Parent conferencing 4. Reward system 5.

Peer matching 6. Frequent breaks 7. Positive verbal reinforcement 8.

Counselling 9. Social skill counselling 10. Prompting 11.

Modeling 12. Redirecting 13. Error correction 14.

Discrete trial 15. Task analysis (role play games for money and time management skills) 16. De-escalation techniques : Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability to build rapport with clients Strong leadership qualities Company Description Home-Link International provides Intensive In-Home/ in-School ABA intervention services for children and young adults with developmental/mental health and intellectual disabilities as well as provide training /supervision services for therapists/families.

Our Intensive In-Home Services (IIH) are provided in the youth’s home and/or in community based settings, and not in an office setting. Home-link International address complex needs and challenging behaviors including but not limited to: noncompliance to verbal/written directions, tantrums, elopement, property destruction, physical/verbal aggression, self-injurious behaviors, and inappropriate sexual behavior under Intensive In-Home Services. Our team of highly experienced staff includes but is not limited to BCBA-D (Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Doctorial), BCBA (Board Certified Behavioral Analyst), BCaba (Board Certified associate Behavioral analyst), RBT's (Registered Behavioral Technician) and BT's (Behavioral Technician).
