We are currently recruiting for a Behavior Specialist to work with adults with developmental disabilities in an Adult Training Center located in Toms River, NJ. The Behavior Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing safe, quality programming for individuals presenting with behavior care needs with a focus on positive behavior approaches. The Behavior Specialist will work directly with individuals and provide training in person centered goals under the supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst(s) (BCBAs) and in collaboration with Supervisory and Interdisciplinary Teams (IDT). Job Requirements:
At least 2 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Successfully complete and maintain training requirements
Must be able to use Microsoft Office, emails, web browsers, search engines and an electronic health records system efficiently.
A valid driver's license in good standing, must be able to obtain CDL and must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance
