QUALIFICATIONS Credential: The minimum requirement is possession of any credential issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorizing services in any field of special education or psychology. and Education:

A bachelor's degree is a minimum requirement, but a master's degree is preferred. and Experience: A minimum of two years of certificated experience with students with disabilities. Trained and experienced in the positive management of "serious behavior problems" (which are defined as individual's behaviors which are self-injurious, assaultive, or causing property damage which could lead to suspension or expulsion) and other severe behavior problems that are pervasive and are maladaptive and require a systematic and frequent application of behavioral interventions. Training in the use of emergency behavioral intervention.

About the Behavior Specialist Position: Our Behavior Specialists are the foundation of our success in providing quality care and service through the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and play-based programs. We're seeking BS's whose qualities are driven by passion, creativity and fun! Qualifications: * H.S. Diploma * Have experience working with children and/or managing challenging behaviors with children (preferred). * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: spoken and written * Available in the PM (3:00 and after) at least 3 days a week.
