Position Summary:

Direct, support and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the department. Essential Job Functions:

  • Promote trust and respect among associates by communicating company, department, and job specific information to associates.

  • Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to help achieve company/store goals.

  • Establish performance goals for department and empower associates to meet or exceed targets.

  • Develop adequate scheduling to manage customer volume throughout hours of operation.

  • Train and develop associates on performance of their job and participate in the performance appraisal process.

  • Adhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelines.

  • Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store.

  • Offer product samples, consistent with company guidelines and applicable laws, to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about; inform customers of specials.

  • Partner with store management to create and execute a business plan to achieve desired results.

  • Inform and educate department associates about current, upcoming and special in-store promotions.

  • Prepare and submit seasonal critiques for the sales and merchandising supervisor.

  • Monitor and control expenses for the department.

  • Assist store management in preparing the store/department budget, profit and loss reviews, and take appropriate action on all financial reports.

  • Maintain an awareness of inventory/stocking conditions; note any discrepancies in inventory.

  • Schedule daily, weekly and monthly price changes by updating shelf tags and promotional signs.

  • Plan, organize and supervise the inventory process.

  • Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained and temperature logs are maintained.

  • Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.

  • Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair.

  • Notify management of customer or employee accidents.

  • Report all safety risks, or issues, and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraud.

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age

  • Effective communication skills

  • Knowledge of basic math

  • Ability to handle stressful situations

Desired Previous Job Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Management experience

  • Beer/Wine/Liquor experience

  • Familiar with industry terms and processes

  • Retail experience

  • Knowledge of product and industry trends in specialty wines and beers: imported and domestic varieties, the flavor profiles and how they are made

  • Second language: speaking, reading and/or writing

POSITION SUMMARY: As an Office Manager, you play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring patients have a great experience from the moment they walk through the door to when they leave the office. JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: * Develops and implements short and long-term work plans and objectives. * Oversees and assists with all front office functions including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, file management, and answering phones. * Identifies, analyzes, and ensures any patient complaints or office issues are handled appropriately. * Develops guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained. * Conducts regular staff meetings. * Creates and manages reporting initiatives for technical and statistical data. * Ensures the timeliness and accuracy of patient charge entry into the billing system and assists with collecting and recording co-pays (cash and/or charge). * Handles labor management including reconciling time clocks, planning and encouraging development for staff, and assisting in hiring activities. EDUCATION: * Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration is highly preferred. EXPERIENCE: * Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or clinic setting. * Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred. * Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Experience using an EHR system is extremely helpful.
