A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING . . .

  • Provides excellent customer service

  • Handles any special customer situations/complaints/returns

  • Develops and maintains a detailed merchandising calendar at least 13 weeks out

  • Hires and trains new department employees

  • Writes & works orders, plans promotions, ensures proper signage on all product & inventory control procedures for the department

  • Responsible for the department sales & labor budget, grosses, profitability, and reports

  • Responsible for keeping the POS department updated on price changes

  • Performs semi-annual employee performance evaluations

  • Procures product-best price/best time to buy

  • Receives & stocks product

  • Assists in merchandising of product for retail sales

  • General cleaning duties and maintenance

  • Adheres to all company/department policies

  • Follows and maintains the highest safety standards and procedures

  • Writes department schedule

  • Adheres to waste management and recycling procedures

  • Operated within the Company's Core Values and Company Brand

THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF . . .

  • Must be 21 yrs. or older

  • Prefer 2 years' experience in retail environment

  • Must possess an attitude of service to others

  • Must have intermediate or higher computer skills including MS Office

  • Must be accurate and detail-oriented

  • Must be a team player, a leader, and a positive role model

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and trust with a diverse group of staff, customers, and vendors

  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Commitment to personal and professional development

  • Ability to take direction and carry out department tasks and assignments

  • Displays excellent work ethic

  • Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

  • Possesses full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching) and has excellent manual dexterity

  • Exemplifies health department standards

  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Entry Level Compensation

USD $25.90/Hr.

Maximum Compensation

USD $25.90/Hr.
