GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE

The Beauty Advisor is under direct supervision of store management. This individual is responsible for providing an exceptional experience for all ULTA guests by engaging each guest to determine their individual needs, keeping fixtures stocked with merchandise, maintaining overall store cleanliness and completing tasks as assigned.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Makes eye contact, smiles, and promptly acknowledges and greets each guest entering the store, or guests within close proximity while moving throughout the store.

  • Offers friendly, knowledgeable and courteous service. Understands that guest service is the top priority and ceases performing tasks when guests are present and in need of assistance.

  • Determines each guest's needs and answers questions concerning products and services. If necessary, partners with management to ensure the guest's needs are met.

  • While serving guests, recommends additional and complementary products and/or services based on information provided by the guest or items already selected for purchase.

  • Informs guests of current promotions, events and services within the store.

  • Is able to serve multiple guests at one time while maintaining composure during busy or peak selling times.

  • Contributes to the store's overall sales, conversion goals, and meets or exceeds individual goals.

  • Helps to eliminate and/or reduce potential theft of product by providing exceptional guest service and maintaining awareness while on the sales floor.

  • Courteously handles sales, refunds and exchanges. Ensures that the correct price, tax and/or discount are applied correctly to each sale.

  • Ensures all resets and planograms are executed as directed.

  • Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.

  • In between serving guests, ensures the store is replenished throughout the day and merchandises all products to company standards on shelves and tables.

  • Participates in physical inventory preparation, execution and follow-up.

  • Executes receipt of shipment truck within company guidelines.

  • Executes other operational tasks as directed by management.

  • Responsible for overall store cleanliness including restrooms, cashwrap, backroom and sales floor.

  • Takes the initiative to stay informed regarding new or existing products is knowledgeable about their ingredients and benefits to better serve guests.

Requirements

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma, 1 year relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

  • 1 year. retail experience preferred.

  • Demonstrates a passion for guest service and a competency for selling.

  • Ability to troubleshoot.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

THIS POSITION IS PENDING CONRACT AWARD Positions are located overseas Summary: PRO-telligent, a Tetra Tech Company is seeking an experienced Mobile Training Team- Sr. Training Advisor. The senior training advisor will focus on developing higher-level skills in trainees including institutional and command-level functioning, and advising local trainers how to train effectively. The senior training advisor may mentor PCC trainers as they deliver the UN Pre-Deployment Training curriculum to members of a Formed Police Unit or Individual Police Officers. The mentoring role may include assisting trainers with lesson plan development, resolving classroom challenges, and only when necessary, intervening to ensure trainers do not deliver grossly inaccurate information on key issues. One senior training advisor will serve as MTT team lead when in-country, responsible for managing the rest of the training team, liaising with the host country, and reporting to the Program Manager to include arranging training logistics and set-up. Responsibilities: * Serve as Training Team Lead in the development and implementation of training missions under the IPPOS program; * Deliver INL-approved course curriculum to students through lectures, discussions, and practical exercises; * Ensure only vetted students participate in trainings; * Ensure appropriate performance measurement tools relevant to pre-and post- training data are accurately completed and assist in the drafting and submission of the assessment reports when required; * Track, monitor, and evaluate training and trainees based on the IPPOS Performance Measurement Plan and toolkit; * Ensure on-time delivery of training-related requirements, including all work products, M&E deliverables, training, etc.; and * Travel overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous, unhealthy or other adverse and austere environments Five (5) years in an active, sworn position with a full-time federal, state, or local law enforcement agency or foreign law enforcement agency;Certified police instructor from an accredited law enforcement instructor development training program with at least two (2) years' experience of conducting trainings (must provide documentation of training experience and certifications);Demonstrated experience instructing law enforcement curriculum to different audiencesExcellent oral and written communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;Experience working/living in developing and/or post-conflict countries;Must maintain the highest ethical and performance standards while deployedMust demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment and with trainers from other countries;Must be able to deliver police training to foreign nationals through a language assistant;Must be willing and capable of working in a fluid, austere environment, under challenging circumstances; Must demonstrate knowledge of and ability to assess the capabilities of at least five (5) of the following skill sets: * Human rights * Gender violence issues * Community policing and problem solving * Crowd control and public order maintenance * Proper use of UN standard firearms – rifle, pistol, and grenade launchers * Defensive tactics and self defense * Tactical progression * Basic police techniques * VIP protection * Check points * First aid and CPR * Land navigation, map reading, and GPS * Driver training * UN System and operations in peacekeeping. * Ability to receive and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) certification. Preferred Qualifications * Prior UN peacekeeping experience or international police training and mentoring experience; * UN Police training certification; * Experience teaching law enforcement instructor development courses; * Familiarity with international and/or law enforcement training programs; * Familiarity with United Nations peacekeeping; and * Ability to speak and read foreign languages, especially French or Arabic.
