Outside Sales Representatives fulfill a critical role in our operations. Outside Sales Representatives are crucial in increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Outside Sales Representatives will have travel to assigned territories to meet with potential and current customers, negotiating sales contracts and telling clients about new products, updates, and services. This position involves taking orders from customers, making outbound calls, and processing paperwork. The Outside Bearing Sales Representative will be responsible for handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. They are responsible for developing networks and industry contacts, promoting our value-added products and services, keeping customer satisfaction a priority.

Outside Sales Representative Job Duties:
The primary duties of this position will be to actively promote product sales and service in the assigned territory
Secure product orders from new and existing customers for new equipment sales and service contracts
Actively identify and develop new customer contacts to expand market share
Assist customers in solving problems and provide technical support
Establish and maintain relationships with contractors, engineering firms and facility managers to promote Interstate Bearing Systems products and services
Act as a liaison between the customer and company as needed to ensure that the customer needs are adequately met
Outside Sales Representative Qualities:
Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
A self-starter who can identify the strengths presents in a location and utilize those strengths to develop a positive business plan
Proven background in sales
Clear driving record
Available for overnight travel
Outside Sales Representative Requirements:
1-3 years of industry experience preferred but not required.
Strong customer service background
Computer skills, work with Microsoft Office
Minimum of a high school diploma
