This senior level individual will be the evangelist responsible for selling HARMAN product solutions to targeted Restaurant, Retail, and Hotel/Casino customers. The primary mission is to drive demand for the HARMAN solution set by establishing, building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers in this market to meet/exceed revenue targets.
This position does not have any direct or indirect reports.
Responsibility for management of all issues arising from business within specified region.
Responsibility for achieving sales and bookings targets and developing business in accordance with the company's business plan for the specific geographical market and vertical markets.
Ensure that sales goals and forecasts are consistent with the organization's long-range strategic objectives.
Maintain the company's CRM database to accurately reflect the ongoing sales and pipeline position.
Motivate and enable the channel to increase sales of the product range through utilizing appropriatemarketing techniques.
Ensure that the channel is fully aware of the product range and its applications and are technically trained on the product.
Provide regular reporting as required by the business.
Provide sales planning forecasts as required by the business.
Work closely with the Harman Customer Care team to ensure customer order fulfillment and special order requests meet customer requirements.
Assist in the generation of positive PR to support the Company's reputation as a market leader, either directly, or in co-operation with the relevant partners and customers.
Responsible for monitoring and reporting relevant competitive activity in the marketplace.
To be responsible for monitoring the performance of the existing product range, identifying market trends and opportunities for new product development.
To assist in the specification of new product by providing the company with an effective market research/market feedback function.
Represent Company at trade shows to promote products
Good understanding of professional audio markets with knowledge of the Restaurant and Retail sectors in particular being an advantage.
Thorough understanding of all audio equipment used within the professional environment and experience of related technologies.
Typically qualified to Degree level in electronics or another relevant subject, but may be qualified by experience (Minimum 8+ years of sales experience).
In-depth knowledge of sales principles and practices.
Excellent communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills.
Experienced in use of MS Excel and Dynamics CRM, or similar CRM.
