About the Role:

RockYou is looking for a social media analyst to report directly to the Directors of Audience and Business Development. This person will focus on statistics and analytics reporting for:

Facebook, Google Analytics, CrowdTangle, Chartbeat, and various other social channels and platforms where we distribute our content and generate revenue. This detail-oriented superstar may also expect to coordinate with New York and Los Angeles teams to ensure timely review of data and creation of reports. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and experience managing social media profiles and google analytics plus a high proficiency in written and spoken English.


Pull data/ numbers from various platforms and insert them into daily and weekly reporting formats from Facebook and Google Analytics.

Coordinate with New York and LA content teams to ensure data reporting needs are meet.

Report on content performance using Facebook, Google Analytics, Instagram, Pinterest, Chartbeat, CrowdTangle, and more.

Manage reporting spreadsheets and updating with metadata of content run

Some of our projects :

Must have skills:

Bachelors Degree required

3+ years of experience preferred

1+ years managing Facebook, Instagram, YouTube accounts

Experience with Google Analytics

Very proficient with Google Spreadsheets, Excel, and Microsoft Word

Excellent written and verbal English skills

Nice to have skills:

Experience with Chartbeat

Experience with CrowdTangle

Experience with SocialFlow

Familiarity with UTM tags and tracking UTMs in Google Analytics

Advanced Excel: pivot tables, lookups, charts
