Job Description: We are looking for a compassionate and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Assistant to the Director and Break Duty Supervisor 25-28 hours per week. This role involves supervising high school teens during break and lunch periods, providing mentorship, assisting with administrative tasks, and supporting the Director in the execution of the program's vision. The ideal candidate loves Jesus, is passionate about discipleship, enjoys adventurous activities, has a passion for the teenage years group, and is tech-savvy.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage with high school teens during break and lunch periods.
  • Build meaningful relationships with teens, offering guidance and mentorship.
  • Assist in planning and leading adventurous activities and outings.
  • Support the Director with administrative tasks
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and Christ-centered environment.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all teens during supervision periods.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the program.

Requirements

  • A deep love for Jesus and a passion for discipleship.
  • HIgh school graduate.
  • Previous experience working with high school teens in a mentorship or supervisory role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and participate in adventurous activities. (hiking, ropes course, camping)
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong administrative skills.
  • Proficiency with technology
  • A heart for service and a willingness to support the Director in various administrative tasks.
  • Ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all teens.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in youth ministry or a similar setting.
  • First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
