BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA)

REPORTS TO: The Assistant Superintendent/Director of Pupil Personnel

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Achieve and maintain graduate level certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

• Expertise in the field and knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)

• Experience in data collection, data analysis and program development

• Experience in the competition of Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) and the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)

• Experience in evaluating student functioning across multiple domains, including academic, social, language, daily living, and student behavior

• Experience with providing training to staff and parents

• Physical requirements including standing for long periods; frequent sitting, reaching, walking, bending; occasional lifting and carrying, squatting, twisting, or kneeling.

SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive Salary and Benefits based on years of experience

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-Time position during the school year, as determined by the Board of Education,

including 180 student days and 4 staff development days; also provides periodic

support in 6 weeks Extended School Year (ESY)

program
