RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead cross function teams (process engineers, device engineers, R&D engineers, equipment engineers, test engineers) to develop and qualify new BAW process flows for high volume manufacturing

  • Develop and integrate new BAW process flows into existing production flows to achieve best in class filter performance with high yield

  • Design corner experiments to identify potential manufacturability issues and key process sensitivities to ensure the released process flow is manufacturable

  • Collect, analyze, and use characterization data to verify new process flow is meeting specifications

  • Present qualification data to Technical Review Board for release to manufacturing

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or relevant discipline with 5+ years of direct experience with high volume semiconductor process development and integration

  • In depth knowledge of all semiconductor processing steps and their interactions, experience with BAW device processing a plus.

  • Understanding of BAW device theory and RF testing a plus.

  • Detailed understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE)

  • Familiar with FMEA and FA techniques required Must be able to lead diverse and cross functional team to meet project goals and schedules

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills are required

  • Organized approach to problem solving is a must

  • Experience with statistical analysis tools such as SpotFire, JMP, MiniTab required

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

VIEW JOBS 9/14/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-12-13T00:00 RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop and release to production PECVD, PVD, and ALD thin film processes to support leading-edge BAW Technologies * Perform process margin/corner DOEs to ensure manufacturability of new processes * Perform DOEs to identify process/tool interactions and their elimination/prevention * Collaborate with cross functional teams to support long range process technology development * Collaborate with Device Engineering, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and Fab Operations to release to production and yield ramp new processes * Support development and integration of Thin Film processes in a high-volume BAW/GaAs/GaN semiconductor fabrication facility. QUALIFICATIONS: * BS, MS or PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field with > 5 years of experience in semiconductor/MEMs fabrication. * Semiconductor/MEMs thin film processing background (PECVD a must, Plating, ALD, and other thin film processing methods a plus). * Good team communication, cross functional problem solving, and statistical skills are required. * Proficiency is expected in Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control, and database query tools (Oracle, Spotfire, Access, etc.). * In depth knowledge and hands on experience with fab metrology equipment that is required for thin film materials characterization (Thermawave, AFM, XRD, SEM, TEM, Stress Measurement, etc.). * Applicant must be a self-starter that can integrate diverse processes and characterization data in root cause investigation of yield issues. * Project management skills are a plus. * Position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment.
