The internship program at Volkswagen Group of America Chattanooga Operations is intended to provide college / university students and recent graduates the opportunity to use and develop skills they have learned in the classroom by working at our state-of-the-art production facility, and to provide experience and insight into the culture

Our internships are full-time positions (40 hours/week). Candidates will be expected to be available to work during normal business hours (Monday
Responsibilities
Support Battery shop with planning, organizing, and coordinating quality data.
Project support - documentation review, small project implementation
Communicate technical planning and issues with team.
Interact with Engineers, maintenance members, peers, team members and supervisors, regarding specialty projects and initiatives on a daily basis.
Ongoing problem solving with technical support to production group.
Organize special activities for trials and new process implementation.
Qualifications
Specialized Skills
Problem solving skills, root cause analysis for problem solving on internal and external quality related issues
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good technical writing and reporting skills
Communication skills, interpersonal and written
Desired
Work experience in the automotive industry
Robotics experience
Basic Knowledge of:

Pay Rates based on level of education:
Junior $18/hour
Senior $20/hour
Recent Graduate $24/hour
