This supervisor will work closely with BMS Controls Technical Expert, Control Architecture / System, BMS Hardware, and HIL (Hardware-in-loop) testing to ensure quality and timely delivery of the BMS software over multiple electrified vehicle programs.
The High Voltage Battery Control SW supervisor will be responsible for leading the team to develop production software for Battery Management System (BMS) of Electrified Vehicles
What you'll do...
Lead control strategy design and implementation of high voltage Battery Management System.
Supervise a team of SW engineers, and manage multiple work streams of BMS control software development in North American and India
Lead the software release planning to meet program milestones, production / launch, and manufacturing schedule.
Responsible for developing BMS requirements with Vehicle Controls and Battery System teams.
Lead to maintain high software quality and compliance with safety and functional standards, includes but not limited to ASPICE, ISO26262 (ASIL-C/D), OBD, etc.
Support software validation at multiple levels; Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing, Pack testing, Breadboard testing, and Vehicle Testing.
Responsible for developing and maintaining software development processes, and for developing engineering design documents.
Manage Tier1 supplier SW team through sourcing, development, and launch.
Lead future BMS technologies with BMS HW team
Manage employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching
