Job Title: Batching Operator

Job Description

As a Batching Operator, you will oversee the batching operation of raw coffee bean processing. Your primary responsibilities include operating a touch screen system to initiate, monitor, and schedule daily batching customer orders. You will verify customer orders, follow recipes, and calculate necessary amounts of raw materials and ingredients per batch request. Your role involves scaling recipes up or down based on batch size, ensuring the batching system operates at full efficiency, and performing minor maintenance on the batching line. Additionally, you will diagnose and troubleshoot batching operations, making corrections or delegating tasks to the Maintenance Technician as necessary. You will also ensure that batching operation processes meet SQF level 1, GMP, Quality Control HACCP, and FDA standards, and that the final product meets customer and regulatory standards.

This is a fully on-site position in JACKSONVILLE, Florida.

Work Environment

Indoor controlled climate. The facility is 90% storage space for raw coffee beans. As a Batching Operator, you will primarily operate and maintain the batching operation of these raw coffee beans.
