DuPont has an opening for a Batch Set-up Coordinator in Marlborough, MA. The purpose of this job is to perform Manufacturing Operational Support tasks as specified in written procedures. Support for the Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Organizations is from an administrative perspective. The position requires someone with strong math and science skills and a large focus on attention to detail.
This position works Monday - Friday each week. The shift is 8.5 hours, (8 hours paid with 30 minutes unpaid lunch). Must be able to work late occasionally as needed, per business demands. Any hours worked over 40 are paid at time and a half.
The Batch Set-up Coordinator role acts as the bridge between the Supply Chain and Manufacturing organizations. Responsibilities include:
Maintain a safe working environment and participate in all required safety programs, training, and activities.
Follow Operating Discipline principles, procedures and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.
Receive direction from area leads/supervisor and complete assigned tasks.
Interact with work process systems such as SAP to conduct daily tasks.
Understanding of Process Order Management
Create batch codes within a process order
Identifying Raw Material shortages
Work with Supply Planning on scheduling issues
Work with Run Plant Engineering to ensure product quality
Work with Site Logistics to resolve any inventory discrepancies
Print any necessary batch sheets, blending templates or required shop floor paperwork
Attend Daily Production meeting
Your qualifications profile:
A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
Must be able to work in a plant environment with exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, chemical and other elements.
Willing to adhere to all safety standards. Strong understanding and commitment to their own and the safety of others.
Must be punctual and reliable.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills are required.
Must have strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
Demonstrate leadership skills - inspire others and lead them through influence.
A self-starter who can identify, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks.
Must be able to work in an unsupervised capacity.
Able to work within an empowered team environment.

Experience in a Manufacturing environment
Experience with SAP, Excel and Access a plus
