Job Summary:
DoubleTree Hotel Bartenders are responsible for serving drinks to bar patrons and restaurant servers, stocking and setting up the bar for service, and performing closing duties at the end of each shift. Job Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide superior service to our customers at all times; interact with customers in a pleasant and professional manner.

  • Open bar facilities; stock and set-up bar for service.

  • Mix and serve drinks to customers and/or wait staff.

  • Ensure that all bar staff adhere to state liquor laws and regulations.

  • Determine when customers should not be served liquor.

  • Perform cashier duties: set up cash drawer, take payments, return correct change, cash out at the end of each shift, etc.

  • Help maintain inventory levels by alerting direct supervisorof low-inventory items.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age required.

  • Must have a valid Food Handlers Permit & SIPS/TIPS or SMART certificate required.

  • High School Diploma/GED required.

  • At least 1 year of relevant bar, night club, and/or food service experience required.

  • Excellent foundational knowledge and skills related to bar set-up and drink preparation required.

  • Neat appearance and strong customer interaction skills required.

  • Ability to deal with customers in a courteous and efficient manner required.

  • Ability to deal effectively with all patrons required.

  • Excellent knowledge of state liquor regulations preferred.

  • Good basic administrative and math skills required.

  • Familiarity with liquor inventory control preferred.

The Resort Group Sales Specialist is primarily responsible for strategic management of small and short-term group accounts, including contracting and development of group programming. Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: * Timely lead response, solicitation and management of new accounts, site tours, local client visits/sales calls, proposals, Line of Business production, SRP requests, maximization of function space rental, executing contracts and group deposit collection, production tracking, client follow up, etc. * Manage e-Event bookings and inventory; focus on upsell, re-booking and account development. * Support Sales and Conference Services team effort as needed, including but not limited to: FAM coordination, site tours and site alerts, local client visits/sales calls, proposals, SRP requests, Business Travel, contracts, tracking, VIP amenities and reservations, etc. * Territory: Non-geographic; All new DoubleTree direct group leads of 1-30 guest rooms on peak night, including Rate-No-Block and Catering Only as required. * Provide superior service to customers (internal and external) at all times. * Review and be involved in sales action plans to maximize selling profitability. * Maintain and create key accounts for this market segment, provide bi-weekly and trip sales reports, work with operations to provide guest "Experience of a Lifetime." * Develop new sales opportunities specific to this market segment that offer increased revenue potential consistent with the overall company goals. * Perform other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: * College Degree – preferred. * Minimum two years of experience in resort/hospitality sales – preferred. * Minimum two years of hospitality and/or ski industry experience – required. * Highly motivated, enthusiastic and willing to accept constant challenge. * Ability to relate well with others/team player. * Ability to perform all job duties/responsibilities. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, mobile devices - Delphi and Hilton OnQ experience is preferred. * English proficiency/professional writing skills. * Ski/Snowboard ability – preferred. * Ability to handle and manage confidential information. * Maintain a well-kept and professional appearance. * Follow established policies and procedures. * Ability to remain well organized. * Ability to see projects through to the finish, quick and professional response to clients is mandatory. * Available to work various hours of the day. Weekends and holidays may be required * Ability to sit, stand, and/or move in a small working area; Ability to be on feet and walk long distances. * Repetitive keyboard action. * Ability to travel out of state. * Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
