Bartender

Job Summary:

Arlo Chicago is seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving delicious drinks to our guests while ensuring exceptional service and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a full-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry.

Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $9.86 per hour, paid bi-weekly. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner

• Take drink orders and make recommendations to guests based on their preferences

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beer, and wine in a timely and accurate manner

• Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times

• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently

• Ensure guests' needs and requests are met promptly and in a courteous manner

• Adhere to all company and state alcohol policies and laws

• Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for guests

• Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a bartender in a fast-paced hospitality/restaurant environment

• Knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and their ingredients

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid bartender's license

• High school diploma or equivalent
