This position is responsible for suggestive selling and serving of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes. Must be organized, guest sensitive and possess a sense of timing.

Major Responsibilities:
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Must be able to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better.

  • Welcome each guest personally within 30 seconds.

  • Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language at all times. Make guests feel appreciated through your actions.

  • Have thorough knowledge of Deliverin the Goods, TOPBAR and all of their components and use them as guidelines to manage the bar effectively.

  • Work as a team with all Logans personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service.

  • Work with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to Logans standards at all times.

  • Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes.

  • Ring drink and/or food orders into computer immediately, collect money from guests for drinks served and make change.

  • Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in agreement with Logans Roadhouse standards.

  • Wash and sterilize stemware.

  • Place current bar tabs in rocks glasses in front of Guests at all times with their name and your name written on it.

  • Monitor and ensure that no Guest receives more than 2 Roadhouse Teas on the rocks.

  • Be attentive and anticipate your guests needs! Follow the half-full rule when offering another drink. Be alert of guest signals (raising a hand, looking directly at you, etc.), and acknowledge the guest so they know you will be right with them.

  • Learn your guests names, occupations, and favorite drinks. This will make Logans Roadhouse a special place for them.

  • Responsible service of alcohol. Should a guest reach the state you do not feel they should drive, we will supply a taxi. Do not hesitate to ask for management intervention if necessary.

  • Other duties as directed.

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Walks and stands during entire shift.

  • Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe.

  • Remain stationary for long periods of time.

  • Frequent washing of hands.

  • Be Able to lift up to 35 lbs.

  • Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping and tripping.

  • You must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.

S/he supervises a team of task associates and is accountable for supporting the operations of a retail store, including, but not limited to, the shipment process, physical inventory, and all other inventory-related functions. This leader drives his/her business through a focus on performance (sales, inventory results, and operational compliance), people (training and development), and process (standard operating procedures). This position requires a passion for operational excellence, a drive for results, and the ability to quickly and efficiently lead through unforeseen complexity. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions) The MSC is a champion of Ulta Beauty's mission, vision, and values, and should demonstrate them skillfully and consistently through the following (as well as all other projects/duties as assigned): Performance * Meet or exceed goals related to total store sales, inventory, and operational excellence. * Forecast and adjust payroll to maximize productivity and complete task workload (e.g., daily tasks, shipment, and inventory processes) on time, and within the payroll budget. * Build a team that embodies the Ulta Beauty brand by delivering exceptional service through the execution of tasks that drive product availability, newness, and the option for a self-navigated shopping experience. * Review and interpret financial and operational reporting regularly, including store visit and audit results. * Identify underperforming metrics and inefficient processes, and develop strategies that leverage company programs, tools, and resources to improve and grow the business. People * Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team of top talent. * Train, coach, and develop associates using company programs, tools, and resources. * Create an environment that inspires and encourages the growth and engagement of associates. * Establish professional vendor partnerships that foster a shared interest in collaboratively delivering on shipment expectations. * Promote a culture of operational excellence by leading by example, sharing best practices, establishing priorities, and providing support. Process * Be knowledgeable of, and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards. * Use the company's scheduling tool as directed to adjust schedules and manage attendance in-the-moment during manager-on-duty shifts to ensure accurate schedules and reporting. * Use the company's task management tool as directed to prioritize and execute store workload. * Protect company assets and minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operating procedures are met, including workplace safety, inventory control, and loss prevention. * Support continuous improvement by implementing company programs and influencing end-user adoption.
