Summary
Under general supervision of the Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will perform a variety of duties. This includes:
- Preparing hot and cold beverages to serve
- Serving packaged and prepared foods
- Compiling routine food orders,
- Receiving and putting away deliveries, cleaning, and sanitation
- Operation of computerized POS for transactions.

Job Responsibilities:
- Serve hot coffee and tea beverages
- Use and operate all appropriate equipment.
- React politely and quickly to requests, queries, issues, and grievances.
- Accept cash and credit card transactions correctly, following proper funds practices.
- Display a deep knowledge of all menu options.
- Follow all applicable health and safety rules.
- Supports Starbucks' culture, values, and goals.
- Capable of working under duress while maintaining a calm disposition.
- Keeps the business in good order and predicts the demands of the customers.
- Clean, organize, and stock supplies and facility.
ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Associate complies with the following organizational requirements:
- Completes mandatory education, annual competencies and department specific education within established timeframes.
- Completes annual employee health requirements within established timeframes.
- Consistently utilizes appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to protect customers and self.
- Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance.
- Complies with established organization and department policies.
- Available to work overtime in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required.

Education and Experience:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are acquired through the successful completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must be a minimum of 17 years of age. Previous customer service experience in a food service environment is also preferred, but not required.

- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed

- Requires the physical abilities and stamina (i.e., ability to stoop, reach and lift equipment and supplies; remain on feet for long periods of time) to perform the essential functions of the position.
