Diesel Barbershop offers some of the most competitive compensation in the industry. At Diesel, you are paid 5 ways (1) Great Hourly Base; (2) High Retail Commission; (3) Competitive Service Commission; (4) Weekly & Monthly Cash Contest; (5) Cash & Credit Card tips.

You can expect to Earn $28 to $48.00 per hour (incl. tips, commissions, and bonuses). We are looking for talented Barbers or Stylist with at least 2 years barbershop management experienced. Diesel Barbershop is a modern update to the old school barbershop designed to appeal to what today's men want in a haircut, beard or shave experience. A valid Texas barber or cosmetology license Ability to work a flexible schedule Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills Professional appearance Experience with men's cuts (including bald fades) / (2yrs preferred) Enjoys working together as a team. Are willing to do awesome shaves. (We can train you) Willingness to learn and grow in the hair industry. POSITION OVERVIEW : The Manager(s) are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the shop.

This includes interviewing, hiring, coaching, developing and training.This includes activities such as scheduling,developing the skills and techniques of the crew, some back-office work at the beginning and the end of the day, and most importantly, they are responsible for building the culture and values of the shop by leading from the front. Manager(s) should work with each another as well as with the crew to foster a positive environment for everyone. Outside of those duties, the Manager(s) will also take clients while they are working.

A good Manager is going to be a Cutter that the rest of the team looks up to and depends on for technical and service advice. They will have a strong set of values as it relates to work ethic, honesty, integrity, and punctuality.They must be able to step outside their creative box and think operationally.They will be relatively drama-free as it relates to the barbershop and their work environment. They will need to have flexible availability and be able to work nights and weekends with reliable transportation.
