This vacancy is located in the
Rehabilitation Departmentat Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System in Jackson, LA (East Feliciana Parish). ELMHS is the largest 24-hour, multi-site, state psychiatric complex, comprised of residential, outpatient and inpatient services.

This posting will be used to fill a part-time, WAE position (up to 29 hours per week). The hourly pay for this position is $15.50.

You must possess a license issued by the Louisiana Board of Barber Examiners or a cosmetology licensed issued by the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a license issued by the Louisiana Board of Barber Examiners.
SUBSTITUTION:
A cosmetology license issued by the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology will substitute for the Louisiana barber license.

Participates in the operation of the barber shop.
Cuts and shampoos hair and gives scalp treatments.
May shave patients.
Keeps barber shop in sanitary condition.
Sterilizes equipment after use and maintains tools in good working condition.
May instruct male patients in elementary grooming care.
