Barber - Spa & Salon (Bellagio)

THE JOB:

As a Barber at the Bellagio Spa & Salon, you will set the stage for the ultimate guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. You will deliver exceptional Barber services, including straight razor shaves, haircuts, and beard trims. You will consult with clients to ensure personalized experiences as well as maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to high standards of hygiene. By understanding the guests' unique stories and needs, staying up to date on the latest trends and techniques you will own their experience to create WOW moments and lifetime memories.

THE STARTING PAY RATE: Commission-Based Pay / $14.87 per hour during training

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Elevate the guest experience by consistently providing professional, friendly, and engaging service that exceeds expectations, ensuring unforgettable memories and fostering unparalleled loyalty

• Adhere strictly to department policies, safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a pristine and secure environment reflecting our commitment to excellence

• Deliver top-tier Barber services with the ability to produce both creative and technically accurate visual presentations in line with treatment and department protocols

• Efficiently execute Barber services within designated timeframes as outlined by the company, ensuring swift yet exceptional results

• Stay at the forefront of the hair industry by consistently maintaining an up-to-date understanding of our product line and remaining informed about the latest trends and cutting-edge techniques

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent

• Nevada State Board Barbers License

• Must either possess the ability to obtain or currently hold a TAM card and Food Handlers card

• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Master Barber License issued from the State of Nevada

• Two (2) years of barber experience

• One (1) year of guest service experience

• Experience in retail

• Experience in a similar luxury spa or salon setting

• Takes pride in their work

• Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression
