What We're Looking For: Bar Shift Lead (non-cocktail)

As the Amphitheater Kitchen Prep Lead, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating kitchen preparation activities within the amphitheater venue. Your role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of food service during events, concerts, and performances.

As the Amphitheater Bar Lead (Non-Cocktail), you will play a pivotal role in managing beverage operations within the amphitheater environment. While not focused on cocktail preparation, your responsibilities will encompass overseeing bar operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining inventory levels.

JOB DUTIES

1. Bar Operations Management:

   - Supervise all aspects of the non-cocktail bar operations within the amphitheater.

   - Ensure efficient and smooth functioning of the bar area, including setup, service, and breakdown.

   - Coordinate with bartenders to ensure prompt and accurate service to patrons.

2. Customer Service:

   - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patrons' inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

   - Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, fostering positive interactions between staff and patrons.

3. Inventory Management:

   - Oversee inventory levels of non-alcoholic beverages, beer, wine, and other beverages served at the bar.

   - Monitor stock levels, anticipate demand, and place orders to replenish inventory as needed.

   - Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.

4. Staff Training and Supervision:

   - Train bar staff on proper serving techniques, product knowledge, and customer service standards.

   - Supervise bar staff during shifts, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

   - Provide coaching and guidance to staff to maintain high standards of performance.

5. Compliance and Safety:

   - Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

   - Monitor alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary to prevent overconsumption or underage drinking.

   - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.

Note: This job description focuses on overseeing bar operations within an amphitheater setting, excluding cocktail preparation duties.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or beverage service setting.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patrons and staff.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of beverage products and familiarity with inventory management systems.

- Understanding of relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServeSafe) is a plus.
