Banquets - Beverage Server - THE ROW (Reno)

Starting pay rate: $10.50 plus tips!

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for the ultimate professional guest service. Knowledge of product and cashiering. Cleanliness of the entire restaurant.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Includes, but is not limited to the following.)

• Ensures all food and beverage orders are properly prepared and served according to recipes and service standards.

• Executes store operations during scheduled shifts.

• Ensures the outlet is clean, organized and stocked with supplies.

• Follows operational policies and procedures, including those of cash handling, safety and security.

• Provides friendly and courteous Family Style Service to all guests and assists other employees in a friendly, professional manner.

• Utilize proper procedures and documentation for tendering transactions.

• Assist guests in a friendly, professional manner.

• Follow directions from Manager or Supervisor on duty at all times.

• Maintain proper uniform, ID badge, nametag and appearance at all times.

• Maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance.

• Other job related duties as assigned.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Education: High school education or equivalent.

Experience: Prior counter service experience preferred but will train.

Certificate/License: Must be 21. Valid Alcohol Awareness Training Card.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work may be performed in small areas having a 3-ft. access. Work may entail various conditions of noise levels, temperature, illumination, air quality, fumes/odors, moving objects, and slippery surfaces. Work may be performed with others, around others, with verbal contact and/or face-to-face contact. Work may include shift work and extended days. Work requires knowledge and use of computer equipment. TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position). Requires mobility to include reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, lifting/carrying 25-50lbs., occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.,; frequent standing, walking, repetitive use of both hands with light and firm grasping, normal hand/eye coordination and finger dexterity, far/near vision acuity, depth perception, field of vision and absence of color blindness. Requires normal sense of smell, taste, touch and hearing. Requires the ability to distinguish letters and symbols, follow instructions, memorization skills, independent judgment and decision making; the ability to perform simple tasks to include simple reading, writing and math.
