The Special Events Porter will assist is the set up and take down of the event, as well as maintain the cleanliness of the room while the event is going on.

Skills and experience you will bring to us:
Banquet Porter ensures banquet tables, buffet tables, registration tables, chairs, portable bars, staging, podiums, and audio visual equipment are placed according to banquet prospectus.
Ensures that all meeting rooms are set with the proper amenities (mints, meeting notes, pens, fresh water, etc.).
Ensures all necessary serving equipment is placed appropriately and tested.
Always returns all banquet equipment to appropriate storage areas.
Continually monitors stock levels and obtains supplies and equipment for concession stands and portable bars.
Your knowledge that matters most for this role:
Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Must be able to prioritize multiple functions.
Fine manipulation of hands is required for simple grasping of 5 pounds and pushing and pulling of up to 100 pounds.
