The Georgia Center for Continuing Education Food and Beverage unit operates a variety of banquet options to serve its University of Georgia and non-University of Georgia customers. As part of this comprehensive Food and Beverage operation, the Center offers served meals, buffet meals, receptions, banquet bars, a la carte deliveries, coffee breaks and off-site events for any and all meal periods and time frames. This position will be tasked with:
Setting tables as needed
Serving customers in the banquet area as needed
Serving coffee breaks
Serving customers in our various food outlets
Catering outside functions as needed
Performing other customer service functions as needed
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
Customer service experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Physical Demands
Repeatedly lift up to 40 pounds and walk/stand 67-100% of the time.
