Responsible for all aspects of food preparation and cooking using a variety of kitchen utensils. Assist guests in every way possible in order to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and cook all items according to company standards for recipes and procedures, including the seasoning, finish, and garnishment of all food items and entrees. Adhere to time and sequence of cooking operations to meet service standards/hours.
Perform advanced cooking operations including deep fat frying, broiling, steaming, sauting, advanced oven work and production/prep work. Plate up food items and dish up for large functions. Advanced skills or knowledge in the use of kitchen tools and utensils including knives, slicers, choppers, mixers, steamers and braziers.
Work assigned station in the kitchen, with responsibility for the cleanliness and sanitation of equipment (stoves, coolers and tables) and assigned work area. Responsible for changing the grease in fryers.
Assist other kitchen personnel as needed, including Executive Chef, Food Prep and Pantry personnel and Stewards. Ensure prep work is complete in assigned area for next shift. Properly use and store food items and kitchen supplies. Transport food and supplies to work stations as needed. Work effectively with other employees, vendors, guests and other visitors.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the coolers and dry storage areas.
Comply with all Company, departmental, and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Must follow the Thoughtful Service model at all times.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School or Equivalency; six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position is part of a career progression group.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Must have written and verbal command of English.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Basic proficiency- Internet Explorer and /or other Internet Service Providers
