The ideal candidate for this position

The Primary duty of a Banquet Houseperson is great organization skills to set-up, serve, and clean all scheduled functions

Maintain cleanliness and organization of all meeting rooms, hallways, storage and service areas

Set up event according to the specifications of the Banquet Event Order

Reset the room as needed/ assemble dance floor, staging, pipe and drape as needed

Maintain a high level of customer service to our patrons/ transport any guest request with packages and


During events, assist the Banquet servers in any capacity

Work with audiovisual with any set up of items

Able to handle the lifting requirements of the position up to 50-80lbs

Able to handle the bending and mobility requirements within this important role

Able to change priorities at a moment's notice according to hotel needs

Trained in other roles within the F&B Departments to jump in and assist

Work safely and have a high priority on safe work habits

Be available to work all shifts: 1st, mid and 2nd

Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or Banquet set-up

This is a Full-Time Position

Abilities Pushing vacuum entire length of hallway, carrying supplies from department to assigned floor, carrying dirty linen to laundry shoot, removing room service trays and carrying dirty dishes to service area. Bending/kneeling -dusting requires bending and kneeling to reach all areas. Room service trays are placed on floor for pick up. Bending would be required to retrieve dirty dishes. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs Mobility -movement to reach all areas of responsibility to include: shelves, windows, ledges, pipes, under and around furniture. Continuous standing -continuously standing and/or walking to accomplish all that is required for position. Climbing stairs -approximately 40 steps 15% of 40 hour week. No driving required. Education/Formal Training No formal education needed. Experience Prior housekeeping experience desirable. Material/Equipment Used Chemicals/Agents used: Standard cleaning chemicals. Protective gloves worn approximately 10% of 8 hours. Protective goggles worn approximately 20% of 40 hours. Operation of vacuum cleaner, floor buffer, carpet cleaner, pressure washer.
