$15.00-$17.00 including tips (tips are not guaranteed)
Duties: This position is responsible for the timely set-up, breakdown, and care of all banquet furniture and event related equipment.
Read and understand banquet event orders (BEO's) for the purposes of planning equipment and furniture needs for events. Set-up and take down tables, chairs, staging and equipment for events. Set-up and take down dance floor, draping, signs and banners. Open and close moveable wall particians.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous banquet set-up experience preferred. Ability to follow oral and written instructions as well as read and comprehend a set-up diagram. Excellent customer service and people skills.
Long periods of standing, walking and moving furniture/hotel mattresses. Capable of pushing, pulling or otherwise moving portable event equipment from storage area to function rooms. May require working from a scissor lift.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs. Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays and varied hours.
