Banquet Bartender

The primary purpose of the Banquet Bartender is to provide guests with an excellent bar experience during banquet events. Assist and approach all guests in a sincere, courteous and service-oriented manner, and whenever possible, goes the extra mile to ensure total guest satisfaction Perform cashier duties according to Banquet Event Order, following both SMI Hotel Group and the Franchise standards Follow established guidelines, policies and procedures regarding making beverages Abide by state, federal and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages Return all equipment and supplies to proper area Perform other duties as requested by management Qualifications High School diploma or GED required One year prior bartending experience required Hospitality experience preferred Excellent oral communication skills required Positive interpersonal skills required Must be certified or willing to complete and maintain up-to-date alcohol serving class, such as TIPS or other state approved classes Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays SMI Hotel Group recruits the best and brightest, in order to deliver the highest quality service to our guests.
