Job Description Job Description Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant Location:
Portland, OR (Hybrid potential after 30 days) Salary: $65,000-$75,000 A busy and well-respected firm in Portland, OR, is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant with at least three years of bankruptcy experience to support a high-volume practice. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative and litigation support, including document preparation, case management, timekeeping, billing, and calendar management.
Prepare, edit, and finalize documents for filing with state and federal courts. Maintain organization in complex, fast-moving cases, particularly in bankruptcy and receivership matters. Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure deadlines are met.
Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and court staff. Assist attorneys and other team members as needed. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of bankruptcy experience required.
Experience supporting attorneys in litigation matters. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, and Excel.
Excellent typing, grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills. Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Additional Details:
Relocation considered, but relocation costs are not covered. Candidates must not have been submitted by another agency. Interview Process: 1 virtual interview with the hiring manager, followed by an in-person or virtual interview with the attorney.
