Continuing along its highly successful growth trajectory, SFFedCU is seeking an Account Services Specialist. This position is located at the corporate office location at 770 Golden Gate Ave. in San Francisco.

The Position:

The Account Services Specialist is a key member of the credit union's account services office team and as such contributes to a positive member experience through routine and on occasion, sensitive situations.

The position accurately and efficiently processes various back office functions, including deposits by mail and from other departments, and check returns and adjustments. The role ensures accounts are closed properly and levies, IRAs, trusts and subpoenas are properly flagged and processed for the membership.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is both a people person and a skilled back office administrator. Using their excellent communications skills they explain or guide members at times through challenging situations, such as closing accounts due to a member's death or responding to questions about various processes and/or transactions, such as check returns or levies.

Leveraging their entry level accounting, excellent data entry and back office banking experience, they excel at processing debit, credit and other adjustments, including bank deposits and check returns.
