Job Description Job Description Bank Teller LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Bank Teller with 4 or more years of experience working in a bank, for a full-time job in Newtown, Massachusetts. This is an excellent contract to hire role within the Banking industry.

Responsibilities: Address incoming phone calls, catering to customer inquiries, needs, and concerns, and escalate any issues or disputes to the appropriate internal resources for resolution as necessary. Efficiently and accurately handle a variety of customer transactions in line with bank policies and regulations, including the opening, servicing, and closing of all account products (CDs, Money Market, Statement Savings, and Retirement accounts). Enhance customer satisfaction and the reputation by warmly greeting, engaging, and building strong professional relationships with customers. Conduct select teller transactions such as processing deposits and withdrawals, issuing Monetary Instruments, and placing stop payments.

Open and process incoming mail, and complete logs, reports, audits, and control checks. Monitor and process daily exception files for ACH and inclearing files. Make decisions on rejected items.

Perform account research when necessary and assist branches, retail management, and back-office units with item processing or retrieval of items.

Process manual cash letters or force-post items that cannot be sent electronically. Review large inclearing items and submit items requiring management review for payment.
