Key Responsibilities: As a Bank Teller , you’ll be responsible for providing top-notch service to our members by handling financial transactions with precision and professionalism. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Customer Transactions: Efficiently and accurately process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and cashing checks. Shared Branching:

Process Shared Branching transactions according to established policies and procedures. Member Verification: Verify members’ identities and perform OFAC checks when necessary to ensure security.

Financial Services: Assist members with money orders, cashier’s checks, and other credit union services. Phone Support:

Answer and respond to phone inquiries and requests, directing members to appropriate staff when needed. Night and Mail Deposits: Process and log night drop and mail deposits, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Promote Services: Explain and promote additional credit union services to enhance member experience. Document Management:

Maintain accurate filing, scanning, and shredding of member documents. Account Monitoring: Check accounts for loan payment status during transactions to ensure accuracy.

Security & Confidentiality: Follow strict security procedures, maintain confidentiality, and ensure proper handling of sensitive member information. Training & Development:

Participate in training to enhance your skills and knowledge in the industry. Qualifications: Experience: At least 1 year of prior experience as a bank teller or in a similar financial services role. Technical Skills:

Comfortable using office equipment (computer, copier, fax, calculator, Check 21 scanner) and financial systems. Communication Skills: Friendly, professional, and able to effectively communicate with members both in person and over the phone.

Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and work as part of a team. Detail-Oriented:

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Security Awareness: Knowledge of banking security procedures, BSA, and anti-money laundering policies.
