The BSA/AML QC Analyst is responsible for supporting the FIU Enterprise Quality Control program, including periodic quality reviews within the FIU and across the company in order to meet the requirements of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, and related regulatory functions of Atlantic Union Bankshares and related subsidiaries and affiliates. BSA/AML QC Analyst II supports training and communication efforts within the FIU and enterprise-wide as it relates to regulatory requirements and emerging trends.
Using BSA/AML and OFAC expertise, perform Quality Control Reviews on BSA department transactions and on line of business transactions. Track and report results to the FIU Management Team and line of business leaders.
Review procedures and processes related to BSA/AML/OFAC functions. Recommend changes in processes and procedures to the FIU Management team and line of business leaders.
Contribute to training materials and job aids supporting BSA, AML, OFAC and related regulatory requirements.
Prepares QC reports and tracks responses. May provide feedback to FIU teammates based on Quality Control Reviews.
Attend training seminars as deemed necessary at the direction of the FIU Enterprise Quality Supervisor. Participate in professional and community associations relating to Financial Investigations and related regulatory compliance.

Requirements Position Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Certification as a BSA/AML professional (i.e.: CAMS, CAFP, CFE) is preferred, but not required.
Must have a minimum of 3 years' demonstrated experience in BSA functions, AML functions, and OFAC functions, preferably in banking.
Knowledge & Skills
Demonstrated knowledge of BSA, AML, and OFAC sufficient to QC and opine on the quality of department output.
Demonstrated ability to interact with management, vendors, and other business lines with tact and diplomacy while achieving stated objectives.
Advanced written, oral, data analytics, interpersonal and negotiating skills with ability to prepare and present QC reports and provide feedback.
Working knowledge of financial institution operations. Ability to research, analyze and recommend improved processes.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret government regulations, trade journals, legal documents, and technical documents.
Advanced PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
