Handle secondary market trading activity through surveillance of the secondary trading market and soliciting and offering bids on selected trading opportunities.
Solicits bids and generates offerings from secondary trading desks on loans targeted for purchase and sale.
Generates trading ideas for portfolio managers by analyzing information gathered through relationships with secondary market trading desks and other data sources.
Serves as coordinator for all portfolios' additional long-term asset purchasing capacity. Coordinates the timing of closings with documentation and portfolio administrators.
Provides primary oversight of relationship with two pricing services. Regularly monitors reasonableness of price indications through extensive market contact. Solicits prices from various sources when situations require.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance.
Minimum of 3-5 years of related trading experience in leverage lending industry.
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are essential. Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team, which includes the ability to be flexible and adaptable.
Ability to constructively interact with both retail investors and brokers, and institutional investors, including oral and written presentations.
