The Bank Financial Analyst will prepare and monitor all financial statements and reports of the bank while balancing service, quality and compliance and relationship building.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare the Quarterly CALL report preparation and other regulatory filings.
Monitor all General Ledger activity.
Monitor cash and liquidity metrics.
Participate in month-end close process including both preparation and review of journal entries.
Review and prepare general ledger account reconciliations.
Maintain all financial records of the bank.
Perform wire transfers.
Monitor invoices of the bank.
Prepare Due from Bank statements.
Review and reconcile the due from affiliate account.
Purchase and Monitor the non-HR insurance plans of the bank.
Document IT Security policies and perform related test work.
Prepare and review of prepaid and accruals.
Prepare Bank financial statement audits and regulatory exams.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
1-3 years' previous accounting experience at a bank required.
Understand and comply with all regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
Ability to analyze and resolve accounting issues and to interpret and determine latest standards.
Strong analytical, detail oriented, using logic and reason to identify solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems.
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, the industry and the analysis and reporting of financial data
Ability to use mathematics to solve problems and arrive at correct answers
