Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Exercise and promote safety
Read and understand the hard card documentation and process
Know where to place the hard card when complete
Understand training sheets
Know production schedule
Collect data
Verify piece count
Inspect material
Build loads and racks
Generate load sheet
Operate and program ovens
Understand TC wire connection
Secure tags on racks
Cool material with fans
Understand lab releases
Send samples to the lab
Close out age sheet
Understand basics of the PLC and Historian
Understand oven restrictions
Understand the required tools and how to use them
Fill out electronic data
Fill out inspection forms (i.e. crane, forklift, pallet jack)
Prepare the line for the next shift
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience: 3 months experience
Certifications Required: Crane certification; Forklift certification; Lock-out/Tag-out certification; Pallet jack certification; Pyrometry certification (certifications completed during new hire orientation)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively listen and communicate ideas and thoughts to others; able to assimilate ideas originated by others
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
Reasoning Skills: Ability to carry out and communicate written and/or oral instructions
Physical Abilities: Regularly required to stand, walk and use hands; must be able to lift 50 pounds at any time during his/her shift; the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
