Balducci's Full Time Hourly Grocery Supervisor - Westport, CT

We are looking for a Full-Time Hourly Grocery Supervisor at Balducci's in our Westport, CT location.

Primary Responsibilities

• Report to and assist the store Grocery Department Manager with any tasks as requested

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of department throughout the course of the day (sweeping, taking out garbage/cardboard, etc.)

• Maintain and construct attractive Grocery displays

• Respond to the needs of customers (answering questions; assist in the selection of product)

• Restock/merchandise displays and shelves throughout the day

• Assist with receipt of product (receiving/verification, ensuring proper documentation, storage, preparation for display on sales floor)

• Assist in the training of other associates to ensure optimal customer service

• Gain familiarity with all store products to be able to provide full customer service and increase sales.

• Supervise and delegate tasks to Grocery associates.

Job Requirements

The ideal applicant will have related Grocery experience, basic computer knowledge, retail ordering familiarity, possess excellent written and oral communication skills as well as have the ability to provide superior customer service. Previous supervisory experience a must. This person reports to the Grocery Manager.
