They are required to assist customers as needed and maintain a friendly, energetic demeanor. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines set by the Food Service Department.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists in monitoring and controlling all costs and expenses; includes maintaining proper ordering and inventory control, ensuring proper weighing procedures, controlling shrink, and monitoring ad displays.

  • Ensures cleanliness of bakery aisles, storage area, and work area for safety; includes cleaning of shelves and products, keeping floors free of liquid spills or water, removing hazardous debris from floor and sweeping.

  • Stocks bakery department; includes presentation of product, facing, filling, and organization of all product items as set by the Food Service Department schematics as well as ensuring tag and pricing accuracy.

  • Examines the rotation of all bakery products paying particular attention to expired stock and discarding outdated or spoiled items.

  • Responds positively to customer's inquiries and assists customers with purchases, information and product selection; requires selling and cross selling of products.

  • Receives, inspects, and logs products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality

  • Builds and maintains product displays as directed and coordinates monthly promotion change-overs.

  • Participates in monthly pre-inventory preparation.

  • Maintains organization and tracking of all departmental paperwork including inventory control sheets, orders to be filled and accuracy of placed/received orders.

  • Requires operating and using equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

  • Sustains a high level of product knowledge and product preparation.

  • Walks department regularly to ensure an organized, sanitary, and overall clean appearance at all times.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalency degree.

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years professional experience.

  • Preferred 2-3 years grocery retail experience in Bakery department processes and procedures.

  • Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for dealing cross functionally with peers and senior management.

  • Must have knowledge with MS Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Ability to multitask and have excellent organizational skills is essential.

  • Must be able to lead, support and contribute to team goals.

  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

  • Must be familiar with Health Department guidelines and regulations as they pertain to a grocery retail environment.

  • Must have basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures.

  • Knowledge of the baking cycle and baking terminology.

  • Must have skills working with knives and a bread slicing machine.

Position Description In this position you will be part the Global Electronics Engineering (GEE) Braking Electronics Team developing high performance Brake Control Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for multiple global customers with high annual production volumes. Product development focuses on Slip Control Systems (SCS) and Integrated Brake Controls (IBC) brake control applications. Position Requirements * Owner of ongoing support of all Global Electronics North American current production Braking Electronic Control Units (ECUs). * The role will be to Lead the Team primarily in: * overseeing supplier requests for changes (SRCs) and understand Where Used in product applications, customer communications management, validation plan coordination, updates to GEE Management * Alternate component supplier assessments and validation opportunities. * Warranty return support as required when normal Return Material Analysis (RMA) process at the ECU production facility requires higher level of support from Product Engineering. * Interface with International Global Electronics Engineering Braking Team in Koblenz Germany and Shanghai China to develop and maintain a global strategy for GEE Braking SRC management * Continued Process development for managing Supplier Requests for Changes (SRCs) as it relates to Braking ECU applications. * Liaison with internal functions (i.e. Manufacturing, Purchasing, Program Mgmt.) to insure product and component change management supports ZF Business objectives. * Prepare appropriate documentation and presentation material to effectively communicate technical subject matter to audiences at the Customer level, internal working level and at the Senior Management level. * Attend, Lead and actively participate in Customer Presentations, Design and Technical Reviews. * Read and understand electrical schematics and PCBs. * Generate and oversee product DFMEA, WCA, TRD, ICD, and Detailed Design Document. * Support DVP&R (Design Validation Plan & Report) development. * Support the validation testing of ECU's in the US (EMC, Environmental & Durability). * Make required design decisions in collaboration with appropriate Engineering Product Design Specialists to facilitate resolution to product technical and functional issues as idneitifed in validation testing or warranty analysis. * Coordinate Engineering tasks and deliverables, create a project work plan, track status against the plan, manage engineering change and resolution of product technical issues. * Support key stakeholder meetings, technical reviews and vehicle evaluations. * Some travel may be required domestic or abroad on special need basis. No ongoing or planned travel.
