Harry and David is looking to fill Production Trainer Positions in our Bakery and Specialty Foods Departments! The Trainer will be responsible for providing hands-on floor and/or classroom training. Trainers will be assigned to an individual department. Day & Swing shift available.
One year of supervisory or team lead experience with proven communication, administrative and technical skills Preferred.
Good verbal and written communication skills are required to interact effectively with different levels of authority and company personnel.
Must be able to promote a team effort to achieve common goals, as well as give and receive constructive feedback.
Must be able to lead discussion and follow up questions.
Excellent attendance record is required.
Good Problem-solving and decision making skills are essential.
Computer skills with SAP and EWM experience are a plus.
Must be able to withstand a production environment with exposure to dust, varying temperatures and noise. Physical requirements include standing for long periods, walking, bending, reaching, twisting and lifting up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
Must be flexible with regard to schedule and job assignments as days, hours and support tasks may vary depending on production needs. Weekends and overtime may be required.
